Q: What is the earliest I can Check-in?

A: Guaranteed check-in time is 2 pm.   If the room is available earlier guests can check in anytime after 10.00am.

Q: Can I arrive late?

A: Yes.  If you are arriving after 8.30pm please telephone or send us an email.  We have after hours security on premises who will show you to your room.

Q: Do you have on-site parking?

A: Yes, we have on-site parking.

Q: Are your rooms non-smoking?

A: Yes, all rooms at Kaiviti Motel are non-smoking.

Q: Do you have a restaurant?

A: Yes we have a bar/cafe.  We serve breakfast, a variety of snacks and dinner.  The bar/cafe is open from 7.00am until 8.00pm daily.

Q: Do you have room service?

A: Yes during bar/cafe opening hours (7.00am until 8.00pm). We also have a bar in the restaurant.

Q: Do you have wireless internet in guest rooms?

A: Yes in our Platinum Executive rooms.   Broadband internet is available in all of our rooms and wifi within range of the bar.  Golden Chain members and guests who book through our website receive complimentary internet.

Q: Do you have an outdoor entertainment area?

A: Yes, we have a garden BBQ area where guests can meet, relax, and cook their own food.

Q: How close are you to the shops?

A: Kaiviti Motel has a Licensed Bar/Cafe. We are also within walking distance to several restaurants including Golden Port (Chinese), L’Houstelet (French), Spice Indian (Indian), The Thai (Thai) and the Waterfront (Seafood and Steaks).

Q: Do you have Satellite TV?

A: Yes, in all rooms (except basic studios) we have 9 TV stations including 3 Australian Channels, Star Sports, BBC, Star Movies, local TV, Australia TV and CCTV.

Q: What is your Cancellation Policy?

A: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to check in date and time. Cancellations received less than 48 hours, the full amount for the first cancelled night will be charged.

Q: How do I guarantee my booking?

A: Credit card details are required to guarantee your booking.  Prepaid guests via our Website will receive complimentary continental breakfast daily and internet (broadband in room and wifi within range of the bar)

A preauthorisation of 2,000vt will be carried on all credit cards to ensure details supplied are valid.  Some banks hold these up to 2 weeks and will appear on your bank statement until your bank releases the hold.

Please note that a 3% credit card service fee is applicable on Visa/Mastercard and 5% on American Express.
